Virtually every important managerial decision has a significant legal component, and the legal consequences of those decisions are as important to the future of the firm as the "business" consequences of such decisions. The focus here is on various aspects of the encroaching legalization. Some explanations are provided for both the greater relative role that law plays in contemporary life, and for specific legal developments in three areas of concern to business: contract law, employment law, and product liability law. |
