| Tiivistelmä: | This study examines the psychological mechanisms that influence process- control effects, that is the freedom to express one's views before the decision is made. A survey of Hong Kong citizens was conducted where the citizens were involved in a new subway-fare scheme. The results show that process control is especially important when negative outcomes are involved but these effects are absent for the positive outcome. |
