Tiivistelmä: | Knowledge management (KM) is believed by most senior executives and academics to be the answer to the challenges of developing a sustained competitive advantage. Based on a survey of some 1.600 senior executives in 100 countries worldwide, a recent Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) report believed KM provided the greatest potential for productivity gains over the next 15 years, that is, some 43 percent of the highest response. The outcome of all the activity is a "12 steps to success" framework for KM practitioners. These are: 1. value proposition, 2. strategic alignment, 3. organizational structure, 4. managing performance, 5. cultural sensitivity, 6. technology, 7. knowledge (hereafter as: kn.) creation, 8. kn. structure, 9. kn. review, 10. kn. reuse, 11. kn. base vitality, and 12. environmental scanning. |
