| Tiivistelmä: | The importance attached by project managers (henceforth as: prj-mgrs.) to project success (here as: prj-scs.) criteria and the associated rates of prj-scs. were assessed for different types of projects, industries and traits of prj.mgrs. Based on 959 responses through a web-based survey, it is shown that importance attached to prj-scs. criteria and rates differ by industry, project complexity and the nationality and age of the prj-mgrs. However, the underlying criteria are different and explained herein. Modeling the relationship btw. importance assigned to prj-scs. criteria and reported prj-scs. against these criteria showed a link btw. importance and actual achievements. |
