Tiivistelmä:Review of 46 empirical studies to investigate effects of 3 classes of non-verbal variables, i.e. demographic cues, physical appearance and non-verbal behaviours, on performance appraisal. Relevant social psychological and communication research related to person perception and impression formation. Effects of non-verbal cues on person perception and performance appraisal. How performance appraisal literature has exclusively examined demographic cues, ignoring potential interactions among 3 classes of non-verbal variables. Non- -theoretical research.
