| Tiivistelmä: | This article presents a framework for repositioning pharmacies as healthcare service (henceforth as: h-c-srv./h-c-srvs.) providers in the h-c-srv. supply chain. The framework development is based on two polar-typed case studies on initiatives to develop h-c-srvs., and the development of a feedback model. The exploration of interactions leads to different types of decision problems during the formation and implementation of initiatives to develop h-c-srvs. to reposition pharmacies. The management policies outlined are meant to highlight potential directions possibly resulting in a management contribution towards advancing decision-making in the sector of h-c-srvs. |
