| Tiivistelmä: | The paper investigates how disaggregated training variables are related to technological upgrading in the South African context. The article argues the importance of technological upgrading and skills of local companies to be able to successfully integrate to the global economy. The study utilizes the human capital theoretical framework to determine which disaggregated learning variables are notably associated with technological upgrading. |
