| Tiivistelmä: | Russia has been one of Estonia's most important economic partners throughout history. Although Russia's role in Estonia's business has decreased significantly after the restoration of independence in 1991, its share is still quite large and it is quite likely to increase further. Russia was Estonia's second largest foreign trade partner after Finland in 1994, its share of overall export being 23.4 per cent; Russia's share in Estonia's import was 16.6 per cent.Russia's importance in Estonian foreign trade turnover decreased in the first half of 1995. |
