| Tiivistelmä: | In the last two years the Russian economy has been almost totally paralyzed by a serious financial crisis. The crisis began with the launching of the Russian reform in 1992 after the political disintegration of the USSR was followed by the breakup of economic ties between enterprises in the newly established states. This crisis was also greatly intensified by dramatic falls in the population's consumption, accompanied by rises in wholesale and retail prices. |
