| Tiivistelmä: | This article focuses on cross-border tourism development in the Kaliningrad Oblast and argues for considering the situation in wider geopolitical context. After the European Union enlargement in 2004, Kaliningrad is now surrounded by EU territory, and the possibility of re-establishing the former tourism region along the southeastern Baltic coast is discussed. |
