Tiivistelmä:Using Reidenbach and Robin's multi-criteria ethics instrument, this study carried out the first empirical test of Robertson and Crittenden's cross-cultural map of moral philosophies to examine what ethical criteria guide business people in Russia and the U.S. Competing divergence and convergence hypotheses (here as: conv-hyp.) were advanced. The results support a conv-hyp. revealing a common emphasis on relativism. Americans are also influenced by the justice criterion whereas Russians tend to emphasize utilitarianism.
