Tiivistelmä:Several cases of takeovers of German companies are described in which the head of the companies taken over had to go. These takeovers are generally preceded by hard fights and these battles have their victims among the managers of the companies concerned in the takeover. The hostile and unfriendly takeover attacks destroy the fine and sensitive networks of relations, and the formerly valid rules of game lost their validity. Those managers who promote their personnel interests and goals rather than those of their firm, are generally in danger, if the outcome of the unfriendly takeover is not favourable for them.
