Tiivistelmä:The behaviour and performance of a number of electrical engineers was analyzed by Organizational Behaviour Modification /OBMod/ schemes, first of all, the Premack Principle. Analysis of the behaviour of engineers showed that, although they had the ability and resources needed to effectively perform their jobs, their efforts did not produce the desired performance. A considerable part of their efforts was directed towards necessary, but not essential aspects of their jobs. A reinforcement scheme was developed and applied for each engineer. Results over a one year period showed individual improvement in output in the range of 31p.c. to 270p.c.
