Tiivistelmä:Mentoring as a management tool is becoming a familiar concept, although the structure and process of mentoring is less well understood because its interpretation is very broad. To mentor can mean to: coach in management tasks and functions; befriend, support and counsel; help an individual towards personal growth; help a group develop and grow. Of these, mentoring for personal growth is the model that is the most powerful and yet the least well documented.
