Tiivistelmä:This paper integrates emerging theory and empirics in personality psychology and recent consumer research models linking consumption-based emotions with consumer satisfaction and postpurchase behaviors. It was found that the neuroticism-negative affect connection was stronger than the extroversion-positive affect relationship. Interactions among consumers, products and consumption situations may affect the relative influence of emotionsand cognitions on satisfaction. The findings demonstrate that gross personality traits affect more specific consumer behaviors through their impact on emotional response systems.
