| Tiivistelmä: | This article introduces an individual-level theoretical framework of self-management failure. The authors present six self-defeating behaviours (SDBs) and then they explain how personality may predispose employees to engage in these SDBs. Also self-management failure is defined and the ways, in which each SDB can undermine standard setting, operating and monitoring, is discussed. |
