| Tiivistelmä: | The aim of this article is to present a new model of pre-vacation decision making. Particular attention is paid on information searching, planning and booking phases before the travel and how individual and touring vacation characteristics influence these actions. The model was tested through the data from 550 face-to-face interviews with tourists visiting New Zealand. The paper identifies four different types of pre-vacation behavior. |
