Tiivistelmä:It is not right that the ability to get along with others is always an asset, since by adeptly avoiding conflict with coworkers, some executives eventually weak organizational havoc. The explanation lies in skill competence, whereby managers use practiced routine behavior (skill) to produce what they do not intend (incompetence). This happens when managers talk to each other in ways seemingly candid and straightforward. It is examined how manager's skill can become institutionalized and create disastrous side effects in their organizations.
