Tiivistelmä:Recent critiques of ethical decision-making indicated that knowing what is right is not enough to keep individuals on the "straight and narrow path"; doing what is right depends more on an individual's values and the organization's reinforcement of these values. In a study the possible interactive effect of organizational culture on values was investigated. Specifically, the values of a class of freshmen were examined, and then considered how those values had changed after four years of college. Additionally, business students were compared with nonbusiness students to identify differences in value development that could lead to future unethical tendencies. The results are compared with some earlier findings.
