| Tiivistelmä: | It is shown that the introduction of computer-based information systems causes significant changes in the task structure of a company. This, in turn, is a source of changes in the organizational structure. A well-known fact that any alteration in work processes and organizational structures has impact on individual behaviour and human relations. To make a new information technology attractive is one of the most difficult problems of technological change and organizational development. A number of success factors are identified. Guidelines are offered on how to take them into account in order to control the change processes effectively. By a committed application of them any firm is able to meet its employees' needs. |
