| Tiivistelmä: | The concept of managerial mobility is defined. Managers should have direct contacts with their employees and the customers from time to time also in the distant future. The concept of a mobile office is developed. The role of laptops and other devices of information technology is explained. Special emphasis is placed on software products. A mobile manager cannot be effective without the pieces of mobile communication technology (mobile telephone, mobile telecommunications equipment). A concise cost-benefit analysis of mobile management is provided. |
