| Tiivistelmä: | The article traces the development of serial programming devoted to single working women. A considerable progress was observed as to the quantity but minority women are still under-represented. Since 1966 CBS has made the biggest step forward in presenting women in its programmes. Analysis of different racial, ethnic and lifestyle groups is also required. |
