| Tiivistelmä: | In the 1990s, failing business processes will come under frontal attack. If the proper strategies are chosen to redirect the business process, not only will high quality and high performance return to the workplace in the USA but the quality of work life in the year 2000 will be greatly improved. Two trends will have a significant impact on work life. These are the movement toward self-managed work teams, and improvements in the business process itself. Employees must work within the process, and it is up to management to work on the process, endeavoring to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. |
