| Tiivistelmä: | A concept of total competitiveness indicator, which includes the three dimensions of competitiveness, viz. cost, price and non-price competitiveness, is discussed. The indicator is based on the relative total cost /RTC/ drawn from the financial statements. The indicator can be applied to the competitiveness measurement of industries and single firms. The comparison of the RTC indicator and unit labour cost indicator between total manufacturing in Finland and Sweden suggest that both indicators behave in the similar manner. |
