| Tiivistelmä: | Six characteristics of human resources performance indices are presented.Seven basic steps in developing a decision evaluation model are described. A consolidation and relocation cost model is exhibited. The listing of all initial and recurring cost elements is emphasized. Personnel executives' attention is called to take the lead in developing indices and using them for program evaluation, decision making and cost/benefit analysis. Human resources performance indices and decision evaluation cost models are regarded as providing the information needed to measure the performance of human resources function: support the implementation of human resource programs; provide input for strategic decision making. |
