| Tiivistelmä: | This paper revisits the british debate about the adequacy of quota sampling by examining the performance of political opinion polls since 1992. Evidence was found that quota sampling is still producing samples which overestimate Labour's strength. The adjustment mechanisms introduced in 1992 appear to help to correct the problem, but these may in some cases still be inadequate, and they are certainly often given insufficient prominence by the clients. |
