| Tiivistelmä: | Results are given of a major questionnaire survey, conducted in 1984, of the whole work force of a United Kingdom insurance company on all aspects of personnel policy and their impact on equal opportunities in the company. The reproduction of job segregation, the career blocks facing all employees which had a disproportionately severe effect on the opportunities available to women, job evaluation and the orientation of male managers to equal opportunities are highlighted. The practical recommendations are outlined. |
