| Tiivistelmä: | Because people costs are assuming an ever-larger share of the whole corporate resources pie, the concept of personnel inventory management using the just-in-time process is an idea that much will be heard about in the future. In order to manage stocks and flows, however, they first must be measured. Each flow in the system implies there is a valve to control that flow. Those valves are the only controls that exist in the human resources system, and the human resources planner and manager can either grip those valves firmly, or be gripped by them. |
