| Tiivistelmä: | This article investigates the effects of trust, asymmetry and contracting in R&D collaboration. Asymmetry can bring major benefits to co-operating firms, but it may also become the basis of dissimilar orientation towards informal and formal governance methods, which make managing the co-operation and reaching goals more complicated. These issues are studied among 87 small Finnish ICT firms. |
