| Tiivistelmä: | First attempts to develop a general approach to the design of complex organisations based upon cybernetics go back to the early 60's. Complex organisations persue their goals in a highly complex and dynamic environment. Organisations and environment reciprocately influence their behaviour. Hierarchy as structural and freedom af action as behavioural patterns are irrevocable elements for the design of complex organisations. Recent developments of systems theory including the theory of autopoietic systems and the theory of dissipative structures have enlarged the concepts to include topics like autonomy and leadership or the deliberate creation of instabilities in order to fertilize the ground for entrepreneurial actions. |
