Tiivistelmä:The shortage of qualified labour and managerial staff is causing a great many companies to revert to the assistance of women. In some of these cases, the companies like to speak of the equality of sexes and the advancement of women, even though it is only a question of adapting a few female employees to the traditional structures as smoothly as possible. A number of measures are shown that a company can adopt if it wishes to come nearer to real sex equality. Some characteristics of the management style of women executives are assessed. Prejudice against women and some other barriers that prevent women to get into the management staff are examined.
