This report takes a more detailed look at some of the major market sectors. Golf is the largest sector of the sports equipment market. It is folloed by keep fit and fishing. The angling market can be split into three sectors: coarse fishing, game fishing and sea fishing. Sales of bowls equipment are worth around 4 million pounds annually. Sales of cricket equipment were worth 11 million pounds in 1993. |
