Tiivistelmä:The SPA has filed over 60 lawsuits against companies suspected of copying software illegally. Consequently, it has become increasingly important for corporate users to be aware of the legal ramifications of illegal software copying. Employers can be held liable if an employee commits a copyright infringement on the job, even if the employer is unaware of such acts. Many companies have established strict policies concerning illegal software copying, even to the extent of terminating employees found guilty of illegal software copying. Unfortunately , many companies have yet to address the issue.
