Tiivistelmä:The author argues that high-performance organizations set themselves apart through a ability to go beyond mechanistic problem-solving patterns of inquiry. Indeed, an obsessive focus on "problems" leads to isolated inquiry, partial fixes, and ongoing assumptions that something is "wrong with the system". In contrast, companies with "appreciative" learning styles practice four competencies: affirmative competence, the ability to see possibilities by styles practice four competences: affirmative competence; expansive, generative, and collaborative competences.
