| Tiivistelmä: | Investment projects consist of activities which are inter- related by technological and resource constraints. The timing of payments depends on the scheduling of the activiteis which is not known a priory. Hence, the decision to be made, is to find a feasible investment schedule with maximum net present value. This article provides a "state- of-the-art" survey of planning problems and methods arising in this context. Furthermore, we present a novel and intuitive solution procedure. |
