| Tiivistelmä: | In 1998 the premium income hit hundreds of billions yuan in China, to which the special and free-trade zones contributed most. However, there is still plenty of rooms for improvement. It would be another function innovation for the special and free-trade zones to set up international insurance centers. The centers will serve as transnational insurance central market and aim to cover most insurance business in the zones, the surrounding hinterlands and radial areas as well. The centers will have four functions in terms of system. They are transnational property insurance division to support knowledge innovation; life insurance division to complement commercial and social insurance; reinsurance division and the division to issue global insurance bonds. |
