| Tiivistelmä: | A theoretical reconstruction is given of parts of the content of In Search of Excellence. It evolves that the internal dynamics of excellent companies are very similar to those of social movements. There are at least three themes that evolve from the comparison presented between the excellent companies and social movements: the excellent companies are marked by so-called very 'strong' cultures; social movements are marked by life cycles, it may be worth investigating if this also apply to the corporate or organizational life; besides the internal processes the social-psychological bias should be described as well. |
