| Tiivistelmä: | Takeover or the threat of it, is an important element in the market for corporate control. According to the author the takeover impact is in opposite proportion to the effect of shareholder power. The fundamental subject here is the accountability of management, and the unqualified recognition of the possible conflict of interest between owners and management. As long as corporate management stays,however, both judge and jury of its own case, the takeover continues to play a role in the reorganization of management and resources. |
