| Tiivistelmä: | An analysis of the adequacy of current approaches to accounting research, with a re-examination of the progress made by the interpretive perspective in correcting for shortcomings in the traditional framework and a review of unresolved problems, the failure to contextualize accounting, while treating it as a social practice, development and an alternative perspective are outlined. The authors opine that such a potential permits a better understanding of the linkage between routinized practices and conflicts. |
