| Tiivistelmä: | The problem of choosing research portfolio continues to be of the interest to Research and Development Management and competing models exist. The results of using two different approaches on this problem -Analytic Hierarchy Process and Multi-Attribute Utility Analysis - are presented. Although only based on a single case, the experiments highlight the need for caution in using models, and the importance of the process of modelling compared with the mechanics. Further directions of the research are also discussed. |
