Tiivistelmä:The traditional views on objective economic rationality as opposed to the partial moral claims are discussed. Business ethics as "pure" ethics, origins of which are external to economy' business ethics as a special kind of ethics interpreted within industrial economics, business ethics as ethical considerations influencing the businessman's judgement. The criticism of the traditional views on economic objectivity based on means-ends relationships, functional rationality, "efficiency", rationalization logic. The new business ethics have to surpass the old issues of Social Responsibility. It must be able to meet requirements of Social Responsiveness, making better businessmen in order to improve the quality of life in its totality.
