| Tiivistelmä: | The article evaluates and summarizes recent research on the influence of organizational culture on business decisions and behavior. Culture is examined as an important management factor in the overall process of decision making and the selection of business strategies in a given environment. The specific advantages of shared perceptions, goals and behavioral patterns especially in periods of rapid environmental changes are described and discussed in contrast to two other approaches to corporate management, namely bureaucracy/hierarchy and internal prices/markets. |
