| Tiivistelmä: | Cable TV grew in Finland without any regulation for 15 years. The lack of regulation resulted in the growth of non-professional television where nobody is paid. A type of 'village television' has grown spontaneously since 1980s.Volunteers produce shows on home video equipment, and the next day the program is sent by bus to the next village. The new Cable Television Law introduced this January will change this practice. |
