Tiivistelmä:Japan has been a very difficult market for foreigners generally to enter and compete in effectively. The reason why the Japanese have not opened up their market much is that foreigners would destroy an economic system which eliminates the need for social security by providing permanent employment; limits government involvement in retirement systems; and provides business with an endless supply of capital. Japan's full employment policy has deep cultural roots.
