| Tiivistelmä: | Recently the reorganisation of many international and national groups could be noticed. The decentralization process into smaller business units (divisions) and the centralization of the management functions at the same time is one of the key issues in this development. In times of competitive markets and strong internationalization the demand on individual co-ordination can only be met by decentralized (sub-)switchboards. The author analyzes responsibilities of the management and the dimensions of an efficient (main-)switchboard and its relations to the sub- systems. |
