| Tiivistelmä: | In this study the author aims to draw attention to the knowledge management of elderly workforce and suggest guidelines for human resource managers on how to engage in this process. The authors research the topic by combining findings on literature review with conversation in the field. Both concentrate on the viewpoints of HRM on elderly workforce and critical success factors of knowledge management. The findings indicate that there is existing opportunities for synergy between a proactive management style towards older employees and successful KM among this group. To facilitate knowledge sharing with elderly employees the HR managers need to review their perception of the elderly worker. |
