| Tiivistelmä: | Management at IBM recognized the strain of having to care for an elderly relative and responded by developing a nationwide referral service to help employees find assistance. The elder care program has been used twice as much as the company's child care program was during its first quarter. The service is available to all regular US IBM employees, full and part-time, employees on approved leaves of absence, retirees, those receiving benefits under the IBM disability plan, spouses and surviving spouses eligible for IBM medical benefits. |
