| Tiivistelmä: | Attention is once more being focused increasingly on the field of personnel management and its content and structure have become the subjects of lively discussion. The negative experience with this classic system of centralized personnel management has given rise to suggestions for alternatives. In this article, the author describes the functions and structure of personnel management in a divisional enterprise. After establishing criteria for the structuring of the functions of personnel management, he develops a 4-function concept for divisional enterprises, allocates personnel tasks accordingly and, in conclusion, assesses the chances for the realization of his concept. |
