| Tiivistelmä: | As demographic trends cause labor shortages, businesses have to look harder to find educated, qualified employees. A private, nonprofit organization, Ability Based on Long Experience (ABLE) was created to help older adults to find jobs. ABLE receives high marks from both employers and older workers; its activity is described, case histories are reported, importance of older workers to the competitiveness of the economy is discussed. ABLE's employments specialists stress that candidates truly want to work, their motivation and flexibility are important factors, their salary is low. ABLE fills a critical need. |
