| Tiivistelmä: | A new kind of decentralization is proposed that organizes subunits of an enterprise in such a way that they interact as independent units on a market, setting prices and ordering or supplying quantities. The actions of the units can actually be portrayed by demand and supply curves. For models of a divisionalized enterprise with common constraints this amounts to a principal subunit including one or more divisions, which sets prices for common resources and supplies these to the other divisions which form the independent subunits. The latter orders the desired quantities of the common resources and the principal subunit adjusts its own solution accordingly. |
